CheckIn.
Cabin check-in is at 4 p.m. EST, and check-out is at 11 a.m. EST. Upon arrival please report to Basecamp, open 8:00 am until 5:00 pm daily, for cabin check-in.
If you are unable to arrive before 5 p.m., please call us at 812-936-4484 to set your cabin up for a late arrival. Please come in to Basecamp the following day to check-in to your cabin and pay any remaining balance.
We are located halfway between French Lick and Paoli on State Road 56/US Highway 150 West. We look forward to your visit and if you have any questions, please call us at 812-936-4484 or email us at info@wilstem.com.
We look forward to your visit and will send you a reminder email two days prior to your arrival, which will have a property map attached to help you with your cabin(s) location! Please visit www.wilstem.com to see all of the activities available at Wilstem, such as our animal encounters, drive-thru safari, ziplining and horseback riding. If you would like to add an encounter or activity please call us to do so, you will not be able to add on to your existing reservation from the website.
Duringyourstay.
If you are unable to arrive at the Basecamp office before it closes at 5:00 p.m. please call us at 812-936-4484 and we will set your cabin up for a late arrival. Please click HERE for a map to your cabin. The cabin will have your name posted outside the front door, which will be unlocked and the keys inside. Please come into Basecamp the next morning to register and pay any balance due.
All cabins are NON-SMOKING. A $250 cleaning fee will be assessed if you smoke in the cabins.
Roosevelt, Capone and Hagenbeck are pet friendly, which require approval and a fee of $25 per pet/per night. The remaining cabins are NOT PET FRIENDLY and will be subject to a $250 fee and can be asked to leave and forfeit all monies paid if caught with a pet in one of these cabins.
Each cabin is equipped with a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker; satellite TV with a VCR/DVD player; fireplace; charcoal grill, fire pit, and picnic table. Towels, linens, cookware, dishware and paper products are provided in each cabin. We DO NOT provide coffee and filters; any kind of cooking oils, spices, or condiments; toiletries; hair dryers; irons; charcoal and lighter fluid; or towels for the pool.
Please note:
-DO NOT adjust any settings or move the logs in the gas fireplaces. Use only dura-flame type logs in Roosevelt and Capone Cabin fireplaces.
-DO NOT lay wet items on the wood floors or on any furniture and use coasters in all units, particularly on the wood furniture.
-Motorized vehicles (ATV's, golf carts, etc.) are NOT allowed to be used by guests anywhere on the property.
-Wilstem is a working ranch. Please yield the right of way to tractors or other farm equipment.
CheckOut.
Check out time is 11:00 AM EST
Upon Your Departure:
-Please clean up after your stay and wash all cookware and dishware and return them to their proper place and correct cabin.
-Bag and tie all trash and place it in the trash bin near your cabin. DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH INSIDE THE CABIN OR ON THE PORCH.
-Check entire cabin (including VCR/DVD player, under cushions and furniture, cabinets, and closets) for personal items before departing. We will not be responsible for items left behind.
-Leave all remotes on TV stands or coffee tables.
-Make sure all TV's VCR/DVD players, lights, ceiling fans, stove tops, ovens, and coffee makers are turned off..
-Make sure all windows are shut and locked.
-Set heat to 50 degrees in winter and turn off the air conditioner in summer. **Carriage House units and Cabin #33 systems should be left on low heat (50) or air (75) and temperature set accordingly.
Lock the cabin and return keys to Basecamp. If you must leave before the office opens, leave the keys on the coffee table and lock the door. Charges will be assessed to your account for any damages or if excessive cleaning is needed.
